Supposedly the body was found in a tomb without ID, but some nearby canopic jars were found that contained body parts (canopic jars held soft-tissue organs, such as the liver, which were likely to degrade quickly if left in the body) and the jars had heiroglyphics with the royal name(s) of Hatshepsut. Then one of the canopic jars is ordered to be scanned by Zahi Hawass, and voila, a tooth is found inside it. Curiously, this mummy's jaw is missing one tooth. Hawass sends for a dentist who compares the tooth and the jaw socket, and pronounces it a match. And Zahi Hawass makes a grand announcement of the identification of the long-missing mummy of the famous female pharaoh Hatshepsut."I am NOT Michael Parks"https://www.blogger.com/profile/08706172380835427249noreply@blogger.com
